Being enthusiastic campers ourselves, we immediately felt at home as we visited Spiegelburg for the first time, when we were still ´ordinary´ campers.
The average sized campsite has 80 pitches, all about 100 square meters and is situated in the beautiful surroundings between the Kaufunger forest and Werra riverbank.
The Werra Valley Cycle Route runs immediately along our campsite. Directly from the campsite you can throw out a fishing rod (only with permit of course) or start or end your canoe trip.
Dogs are welcome (against small fee). We do not have special facilities for children, but there is plenty of play area, e.g. to play volleyball, soccer or badminton. In and around the main building Wi-Fi is available, free of charge.
We do not have a lunch break, upon arrival your pitch is available for you as of 1 PM
We close the gates for the night between 11 PM and 7.30 AM. For those who want to leave early we have two pitches, (with electricity) available right in front of the gates.
Of course you will find there also parking spots for guests who are already staying on the campsite and return late from their day trip.
